Douglas Frisby
Douglas Frisby (BSc – Chemical Engineering, University of Birmingham, and MBA from Cranfield University) has over 30 years experience in technical and buisness leadership positions.
Douglas began his career working offshore North Sea for Britoil and Amoco as a Petroleum engineer. Then leveraging his MBA moved to pre-FID projects, JV operations and new country entry in the UK and Algeria.
He has led multi-disciplinary technical teams in the exploitation of producing oil and gas fields in the UK, Onshore US and Argentina for bp. In addition, he held functional leadership roles improving the processes for hopper development and as Director of Well planning and Operation focussed on building in-house capability and shared learnings. In his last role at bp he was responsible for all Upstream technical training.
His current focus is on Leadership Coaching and Technical Consulting focused on building individual and team capability. Through his career Douglas has been commited to building high performing technial teams who have increased asset value, and helping individuals reach their full potential.
