John has over 35 years of experience with BP, Amoco, and as a consultant. He has held leadership, executive, and key director and assurance positions, and led projects on five continents. John has managed exploration portfolios, appraisal strategy, concept choices, production management, and field optimization in all types of basins and plays. His experience also includes significant acreage capture, high NPV discoveries, and strategic exploration portfolio assessments.
