Srini Prasad
Srini Prasad is a seasoned and accomplished upstream oil/gas industry leader with a proven track record of maximizing asset value across global basins with BP, Hess, and Occidental Petroleum. Known for coupling strategic business judgment with deep technical expertise (reservoir engineering, field development & production), he has held senior functional, asset, subsurface, commercial, and technical leadership positions across the asset value chain. He has managed high-performing, multidisciplinary and multi-national teams. Srini has been particularly recognized for influencing and creating alignments with partners like XOM, SHELL, CVX, BHPB, ARCO, KOC and PETROPERU.
After retiring as the Chief Reservoir Engineer at Hess, Srini launched a consulting practice in 2021 and has been advising multiple clients, including Bain & Company, on maximizing the value of exploiting conventional and unconventional reservoirs by leveraging Subsurface Excellence, Innovation, Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to operate closer to the technical limit.

· Reduce uncertainty, accelerate discovery-to-first-oil timeline, and enhance value of greenfield developments.
· Minimize/eliminate well workover activity using robotic process automation ( >$5MM savings/offshore operation)
· Best-practice framework/KPIs for enhancing value of offshore water-injection delivery
· Deliver 10–15% uplift in production/recovery by leveraging machine learning to optimize brownfield waterflood development recovery,
· Maximize value of infrastructure-led marginal offshore developments,
· Assess depleted offshore reservoirs for CO₂ storage to support oil field decarbonization.
· Enhance shale oil recovery (20+% over primary) through gas/foam injection.
