Registration Policy

REGISTRATION should be made at least one month before the start of the course. However, we will accept paid registrations through the day before the course begins. Registration can be made online at www.scacompanies.com or by contacting training@scacompanies.com for a registration form.

Registration is confirmed upon receipt of payment. In the mean time, an email will be sent acknowledging the registration. Registrants will receive an email within 48 hours of registration and will receive complete venue information two weeks prior to the first day of class. Please note we do not arrange hotel accommodations for participants. When possible, we reserve a block of rooms at the suggested hotel(s). Participants should contact the suggested hotel directly for room rates and availability at least three weeks before the course begins.

TUITION FEES are due at the time of registration. An invoice can be provided via email as long as payment is received before the start of class. Tuition fees are payable in US dollars and do not include the cost of accommodation and travel. These fees include the tuition, course materials, lunch, daily refreshments and a $150.00(USD) non-refundable registration fee, per five days of training or less. Tuition must be paid prior to the first day of the course. If payment has not been made prior to the course start date, the registrant or their representative should contact SCA to make payment arrangements. Note: Where applicable due to government regulations, Goods and Services Tax (GST) or Value Added Tax (VAT) will be added to the total tuition fees.

TRANSFERS and SUBSTITUTIONS are accepted if received at least 30 days before the course begins. In the event the registrant cannot attend a scheduled course for which he is enrolled, registration can be transferred to another course or another person can be substituted. Substitutions may be made without penalty. In addition, SCA reserves the right to substitute course instructors as necessary.

CANCELLATIONS and REFUNDS: If it is necessary to cancel an enrollment, the tuition, less the non-refundable registration fee of US$150.00 will be refunded provided the cancellation is received in our office at least 30 days prior to the first day of class. For cancellations received less than 30 days in advance, the full tuition fee is due.

SCA reserves the right to cancel any course session at any time. The final decision to hold a course is usually made about two weeks before the course start date. If we cancel a course, enrollees will be given the opportunity to transfer to another course or receive a full refund. Keep our cancellation policy in mind when making travel arrangements (airline tickets, hotel reservations, etc.), as we cannot be responsible for any fees charged for canceling or changing your travel plans.

CERTIFICATES: SCA is authorized by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) to award CEU credits. This certificate of completion is awarded on the final day of class to each participant who successfully completes the course.
