Course Description This course covers the support responsibilites needed to meet the increased emphasis on use of multidisciplinary teams. The course emphasizes work sessions that supplement the lecture portion of the course and represent more than one-half of the course time. The course introduces the participant to mapping and engineering techniques used by geoscientists and engineers on multidisciplinary teams and provides the technical support staff with the training required to work within and support the team.
Who should attend
Geologic and engineering technicians, drafting staff and those requiring basic working skills in mapping and engineering technology. Participants should have our Basics of the Petroleum Industry: An Overview for Non-Technical Personnel course or equivalent as a prerequisite for this course.
